How do I submit a 请愿书 to run for office?
活跃的维.C. 酒吧 members who wish to run for office other than president-elect may secure a spot on the ballot by filing a 请愿书 bearing the signatures of at least 417 active members of the D.C. 酒吧, that figure representing at least one-half of one percent of the 酒吧’s active membership as of the first business day of 2023. Petitions are due no later than 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Who is eligible to vote in the general election?
Active members in good standing on the member roll as of April 10, 2023 are eligible to vote in the 酒吧’s general election.
Who is eligible to vote in the 社区 elections?
任何维.C. 酒吧 member who is in good standing (active, 不活跃的, or judicial status) and a member of a Community may vote in that Community’s election.

Eligible voters receive an email link to the general election ballot, as well as to the ballots for their D.C. 酒吧的社区, from an independent vendor administering the D.C. 酒吧的选举. Eligible voters can also access their ballot via their D.C. 酒吧 member account during the voting period.
Voting takes place online only. 社区 elections are included on the same ballot as the general election.
